Visited the RSPB reserve at Balranald on North Uist. Although famed for corn crakes we heard none. Unlike yesterday it was very sunny. We were rewarded with a view of an otter on the beach and shall remember the bull on the path and the odd dog.
Graham is keen on all aspects of natural history, particularly plants and dragonflies. He also is interested in the use of computers in biological recording.
Jane is interested in the great outdoors and is keen to photograph all the plants and landscapes they come across on their excursions.
