Holiday Day 11 : Sedgemoor and Shapwick Heath

De-camped and then drove north stopping at Sedgemoor RSPB reserve. Very hot again, especially as we walked out on to the moor where there was no shade. Helped a kitten out of road.No birds about but we spent a long time deciding what Oenanthe fistula was. Too hot really to be out and about but we made it to the hide at Shapwick Heath. Plenty of dragonflies and a grass snake. Saw the remains of an ancient trackway across the moors. Graham got us lost in the woods, as a result we collected a tick or two. Camped at Priddy.
