Castor Hanglands and Barnack - TF1201

Bitterly cold day with snow, hail and gale force winds. Even so we did managed to get out of the car and have our walk. First stop was the NNR at Castor Hanglands, an area of woodland and open grassland. It was then on to Barnack hills and holes. Many areas were already cordoned off ready for the rare plants but there was nothing yet to see apart from Viola odorata and V. hirta.
