Sintra - Portugal

Managed to find our way out the nightmare that was Lisbon's traffic system to the beautiful Serra de Sintra and its historic town. Graham spotted the first population on an un-expected south facing slope. We then drove up to the summit at Penhilo for our lunch and walk round the church there - where we also found another population. Came back to Sintra for an ice-cream and asked in the tourist office for a room. We were directly slightly out of town to San Pedron to a private house with rooms. It was very nice with grand head boards. At last finished the measuring and had a traditional cod meal in a posh restaurant.
