Monchique - Portugal

Departed London Gatwick for the 2.5 hr flight to Faro. Arrived to gloriously sunny, warm weather. Picked up the car and drove into the mountains and the small town of Monchique. Found a basic hotel over-looking the square and were soon enjoying a beer. Found a local restaurant and had a nice meal, before returning back to our rooms. It proved to be a very cold night.
