Parq de Mina - Portugal

Woken to a chorus of large green frogs that were being hassled by a couple of snakes in the pond outside our hotel. Had breakfast in the cafe below below before heading south to the first bluebell site. After an encounter with a herd of cows and a pack of dogs we found the plants. We then headed to the second population outside Monchique and were done by lunchtime. It was then back to the hotel to start processing the plants. In the evening went to a more touristy restaurant for some more traditional food - lamb stew with chick peas and rice.
