Met up with the Vice county recorders outside the remote Glen Einig Hotel. They then drove us up the glen to a birch woodland where they had spotted a bluebell population. We bravely negotiated a very rickety bridge to do our sampling. On the way home stopped in Abernethy, where Graham spotted his first Northern Damselfly. A quick coffee in the sun in the Rothiemurchus before the long drive back. We just had to have a Gurkha Parade.
