Kemsing Down

We woke early and were soon out and about through the narrow busy roads of Kent. First stop was Kemsing Down. Spent awhile, in the blazing sun, keying out plants in a herb rich meadow before having our dinner. It was then on to the KWT reserve at Pollhill Down. The quick walk round yielded white helleborine, man orchid and dodder. It was then back to the KWT visitor centre in Seven Oaks where we were disappointed there were no ice-creams as it was very hot. Collected some plant galls before returning to a now more peaceful campsite.
